El presente ensayo plantea un análisis del islamismo en Túnez a partir de su expresión histórica más relevante, el Partido del Renacimiento (Harakat Ennadha). Desde su fundación, este partido ha atravesado por una serie de etapas que han oscilado entre la moderación y la radicalización, hasta evolucionar y consolidarse de la mano de su líder histórico Rachid- Ghannouchi, en una organización comprometida con la democracia, las libertades y el pluralismo y un referente de islamismo pragmático y moderado.
This essay presents an analysis of Islamism in Tunisia based on its most relevant historical expression, the Renaissance Party (Harakat Ennadha). Since its foundation, this party has gone through a series of stages that have oscillated between moderation and radicalization, to evolve and consolidate under the hand of its historical leader Rachid-Ghannouchi, in an organization committed to democracy, freedoms and pluralism and a referent of pragmatic and moderate Islamism.
