bajo principios y valores cooperativos.
Cooperativism on a national and international scale has been strengthening over the years, and has created a lifestyle in communities and countries where teamwork and leadership have excelled. The great collaboration and social aid that cooperatives provide to all people and communities has made many decide to grow under this social and cooperation model, in which all its associates seek individual and common well-being under cooperative principles and values. This condition is reflected with the cooperatives, with the opportunities and benefits that can be see reflected from them, for example, we can consider the large amount of jobs that are generated, the products and services they offer, the development seeking through better opportunities and the growth of communities and companies, as well as the common welfare they generate, among other aspects. Thus, from the rise of cooperativism and its different sectors, among them that of savings and credit, services, transportation, among others, the student cooperativism, which is considered as the “space for students to students acquire skills related to entrepreneurship, in a environment conducive to putting into practice the values and principles of the cooperativism, such as cooperation, solidarity and mutual aid ”. (MEP, s. F.). In addition, student cooperativism has come to strengthen the movement cooperative at the level of children and youth through different projects, training processes and incentives for students who participate within the cooperative. It is through institutions such as the Center for Studies and Training Cooperativa (CENECOOP RL), the National Institute for Cooperative Development (INFOCOOP), and the Ministry of Public Education (MEP), which is promoted in schools and colleges the creation of student cooperatives where they are allow associates to save, provide services to the student population and in addition, to be part of new experiences and learning processes formative for their personal growth. Due to the above, as students of Economic Planning and Social, it was considered important to analyze the management from the economic areas, social and educational activities carried out by student cooperatives, in terms of the present research work, the special case of the student entity Cooperativa Agropecuaria (COOPEAGRO), in the Professional Technical College Nataniel Arias Murillo from Aguas Zarcas in relation to cooperative development in the students and in the work they do for the institution. For this, different research instruments were used, such as the interview, questionnaires and observation, which allowed the collection of the information necessary to be able to identify if the cooperative really has good management in the areas already mentioned above and to From this, be able to generate different recommendations that allow the manager and the cooperative associates develop better work strategies and a greater promotion and encouragement of cooperativism in the school
