Resumen
Se investiga el desempeño del director ante las causas que generan conflictos internos entre los docentes, analizando el tipo de liderazgo que ejerce, el ambiente interpersonal promovido por el director en su relación con los docentes y las técnicas utilizadas como mediador de los conflictos que se presentan entre los docentes de las escuelas técnicas del cantón de Corredores de la Región Educativa Coto, durante el curso lectivo 2003. Este trabajo de investigación se enmarca en la investigación descriptiva ya que describe y analiza los valores de los sujetos que intervienen en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje. Para la recopilación de la información se aplicaron cuestionarios a los sujetos de investigación constituida por el 100 % de la población, a saber 125 docentes y 8 directores de las escuelas Técnicas de los circuitos 13, 14 y 15 de la Región Educativa Coto. Los principales resultados concluyen que las causas que generan conflictos inciden en forma negativa en las escuelas técnicas. Con respecto al liderazgo ejercido por el director en las diversas tareas que se ejecutan, se visualiza una incidencia positiva para los sujetos encuestados. También, el ambiente interpersonal promovido por el director incide en forma positiva, así lo refleja la información obtenida, lo que indica que las relaciones interpersonales son excelentes, lo cual da lugar a que el trabajo que se realiza en las diversas instituciones sea satisfactorio y provechoso.
The performance of the principal in the face of the causes that generate internal conflicts among teachers is investigated, analyzing the type of leadership exercised, the interpersonal environment promoted by the principal in his relationship with teachers and the techniques used as mediator of the conflicts that arise among the teachers of the technical schools of the Corredores canton of the Coto Educational Region, during the 2003 school year. This research work is framed in the descriptive research since it describes and analyzes the values of the subjects involved in the teaching-learning process. For the compilation of the information, questionnaires were applied to the research subjects constituted by 100 % of the population, namely 125 teachers and 8 directors of the technical schools of circuits 13, 14 and 15 of the Coto Educational Region. The main results conclude that the causes that generate conflicts have a negative impact on technical schools. Regarding the leadership exercised by the principal in the different tasks that are executed, a positive incidence is visualized for the subjects surveyed. Also, the interpersonal environment promoted by the director has a positive impact, as reflected in the information obtained, which indicates that interpersonal relations are excellent, which leads to satisfactory and profitable work in the various institutions.
