Resumen
Analiza la situación socioeconómica de los agricultores que siembran maíz, así como las plagas que dañan el cultivo y que restan producción y rentabilidad. Se elaboró un cuestionario que se aplicó a 113 agricultores con 8 preguntas sobre experiencias agrícolas, 2 preguntas corresponden a edad, escolaridad, fuentes de ingreso, manejo de cultivo, 41 preguntas sobre prácticas de producción y 3 preguntas sobre las causantes que limitan la rentabilidad.
It analyzes the socio-economic situation of farmers who plant corn, as well as the pests that damage the crop and reduce production and profitability. A questionnaire was developed and applied to 113 farmers with 8 questions on agricultural experiences, 2 questions correspond to age, schooling, income sources, crop management, 41 questions on production practices and 3 questions on the causes that limit profitability.
