We live in a country of high environmental and natural contrasts, with such varied microclimates that greatly favor the high abundance in terms of biological diversity, which is reflected in the highly acclaimed popularity of ecological corner that is flaunted worldwide. In terms of tourism also enjoys great privileges, since it is not common to be able to find in such a small territory as Costa Rica, so many natural and scenic gifts, further evidence that empowers to express openly and without prejudice that if we are truly blessed in this beautiful piece of the world we call our homeland. Everywhere you look, in every corner of the national territory you can glimpse a singularity of attractions, where panoramic views and perfect relief for mountaineering or hiking lovers stand out. The Generaleño canton does not escape from this prominent reality, on the contrary, as far as the level of scenic beauty and natural wealth is concerned, the immense potential that exists is incredible. It is no secret that it has the natural resources and human quality to be considered a cultural, natural and tourist destination properly positioned throughout the country, but even today, we are still questioning what we have failed to do, or rather what we still need to do to remedy this reality. From the above, the first line that describes that we live in a region of contrasts is ratified, on the one hand, we have in theory everything required to seek a successful development of tourism, despite this, it is still difficult to achieve those high levels of visitation so desired, even with so many initiatives that have been developed at the intersectoral level on several fronts and from various organizations. Let us not forget here the role played by the controlled and systematic protection of all these existing resources, since it is not only a matter of having them, but also of safeguarding them for posterity. In general terms and returning to the high potential of the environmental heritage in the region of Perez Zeledon, we now find ourselves with another problem on which the focal point of this systematization is mainly based, and it responds to the fact that it is not at all simple to maintain stable and without damage to the heterogeneous and rich forest ecosystems of a region that in its essence is fundamentally peasant and agricultural, Especially when there is direct or indirect human intervention in certain specific zones that are adjacent to the buffer zones, and which, due to their proximity to the population or roads, are highly vulnerable and susceptible to impacts that alter their structure or balance. In response to this situation, it is necessary to take certain measures or strategic plans that grant not only the great opportunity to minimize or eliminate certain negative impacts at the structural level in forests, but also to generate a powerful management tool invaluable at all levels of organization, which is the collective union of sectors and actors of the entire population of a specific region, so we can not afford in any way to leave aside that phrase that says "unity is strength", it is superlative and true in all aspects. This document presents the systematization of the project on structural connectivity of the link route between priority conservation areas of the Premontane Biological Corridor Chirripó - Savegre, which aimed to visualize not only the framed structural connectivity route, but also to highlight some of the vulnerabilities that are evident in the area, The objective of this study was to visualize not only the structural connectivity route framed, but also to highlight some vulnerabilities that exist throughout the territory under study and that should be addressed or intervened immediately. In addition, we proceeded to highlight some species that transit through this area and thus see possibilities to protect and safeguard these spaces while taking some benefit to the community, perhaps through ecotourism in nearby areas. We invite you to learn about the synthesis of how this project was managed and the resulting learning, as well as the opportunities for entrepreneurship that we inherit, remember that with good reading we become participants of the good stories that others tell us.
