Identidad nuestroamericana: Origen ideológico y perspectivas políticas

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta un análisis general sobre la identidad Nuestroamericana como necesidad histórica; así como de los desafíos que ésta enfrenta en las circunstancias ideológicas y políticas actuales. En particular, se realiza una reflexión sobre el aporte de Simón Bolívar y de José Martí al concepto de identidad latinoamericana y de la relación que guarda dicho concepto con el surgimiento de la Alternativa Bolivariana para América Latina y El Caribe, ALBA, como proyecto identitario del Siglo XXI.This paper analyzes on the so-called Our-American (Nuestroamericana) identity as a meaningful historical essential issue. As well, it is sought to shed light on how this identity is challenged by the current ideological and political circumstances. It also puts forth a reflection about the Simón Bolívar and José Martí’s contribution on the concept of a Latin American identity and, the role this identity has played in the emerging of the Bolivarian Alternative for Latin America and the Caribbean (ALBA) as a key project for the XXI Century.
