The present work had the purpose of determining the geoid undulation) in the San Mateo-Orotina area, combining different methodologies of geodetic measurements, and integrating as an important application geophysical measurements with the gravimetry technique. The development of this graduation work was included in the research activity "Control and altimetric densification of a geodetic network in San Mateo-Orotina including three points of the National Geographic Institute, as input for a national determination of the geoid" in which it was carried out the leveling of a geodetic network in an area of San Mateo-Orotina, whose results were compared with the official records of the National Geographic Institute. This aspect made it possible to confirm differences in heights from the IGN database against the measurements made and to analyze, by means of statistical tests, the significance of the differences in heights referred to the mean sea level of the points. When evidencing a significant difference, the point that met the best conditions in terms of physical condition was taken as the starting point for the transfer of the heights to each of the points established in the network. This made it possible to update and determine a geoid data record specific to the area. The project applied different measurement techniques, including global positioning techniques, conventional leveling and gravimetry that allowed, with its elaboration, to acquire the results to define in the selected area: coordinates in the official system (CR05), geometric and physical heights with their respective standard deviations, in addition to the geoid undulation in each of the established milestones. The average of the geoid undulation obtained from the calculation by means of direct difference is +11.922 m with a standard deviation of ± 1.8 mm.
