It establishes a theological and academic reflection proper to the curriculum of the Ecumenical School of Religious Sciences and the experiential and cultural impression that the reading of the Pop Wuj has always had on the authors of the thesis, as members of the Mayan community. This specifically in the version made by the imminent male Kí-ché Adrián Inés Chávez, who was the first contemporary Mayan to undertake the task of decolonizing the sacred Book in the framework of a society that has exercised racism, contempt, and humiliation for 473 years.
