The increase of salmonellosis, especially in the bovine species, in different countries is highlighted The elinical and then micro-biological diagnosis of salmonellosis in two outbreaks of dairy cattle (ersey/ isolating and ripifying Salmonella typhimurium for the first time in Costa Rica In the clinical study, some symptoms not described in the literature on salmonellosis are found, such as: hydrorumen, Nikow's sign, "abdominal heart" associated with arterial hypotension and eichic sympathetic arrhythmia. It is concluded that in Costa Rica the disease must be widespread and that it is probably confused with the so-called "hemorrhagic septicemia".
