Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad, indagar el efecto del ambiente social y cultural en el desarrollo emocional en los adolescentes que forman parte de los grupos representativos del Colegio Técnico de General Viejo, Circuito 05, Dirección Regional de Pérez Zeledón, durante el curso lectivo 2009. Para la investigación se utilizarán las metodologías de Fenomenología y Etnografía bajo el enfoque investigativo cualitativo. Los recursos literarios analizados dan referencia a temas relacionados con ambiente cultural, ambiente social, etapa de la adolescencia, desarrollo emocional, habilidades sociales y sus elementos, grupos representativos dentro de una institución educativa entre los más importantes a mencionar. Para recolectar la información requerida se diseñaron tres instrumentos dirigidos a estudiantes y profesores, dos de ellos eran entrevistas las cuales constaban de quince y once preguntas y una guía de observación. La población estuvo conformada por diecisiete estudiantes que formaban parte de los grupos representativos y cinco profesores encargados de la organización de los mismos. El análisis de la información recogida se realizó por categoría reforzada por matrices, resúmenes, esquemas y figuras. Las conclusiones que se obtuvieron demuestran el efecto positivo de los ambientes sociales y culturales desarrollados en los grupos representativos de la institución en el desarrollo emocional de los adolescentes que los conforman. Las recomendaciones se enfocan en la necesidad de seguir impulsando los grupos representativos y hacer una expansión de estos a nivel institucional en diversos centros educativos y no sólo en el investigado.
The purpose of this research work is to investigate the effect of the social and cultural environment on the emotional development of adolescents who are part of the representative groups of the Technical School of General Viejo, Circuit 05, Regional Directorate of Pérez Zeledón, during the 2009 school year. For the research, the methodologies of Phenomenology and Ethnography will be used under the qualitative research approach. The literary resources analyzed refer to topics related to cultural environment, social environment, adolescence stage, emotional development, social skills and their elements, representative groups within an educational institution, among the most important to mention. To collect the required information, three instruments were designed for students and teachers, two of them were interviews which consisted of fifteen and eleven questions and an observation guide. The population consisted of seventeen students who were part of the representative groups and five teachers in charge of organizing them. The analysis of the information collected was carried out by category, reinforced by matrices, summaries, diagrams and figures. The conclusions obtained demonstrate the positive effect of the social and cultural environments developed in the institution's representative groups on the emotional development of the adolescents who are part of them. The recommendations focus on the need to continue promoting the representative groups and to expand them at the institutional level in different educational centers and not only in the one investigated.
