Certamen literario Brunca 2022

Abstract

El 15 de noviembre de 1978 Hernán Cruz Rodríguez, Iván Moreno Rampani y William Garbanzo Vargas crearon un taller literario en San Isidro de El General, sin saber que serían los precursores de un movimiento literario prospero, lejano al Valle Central, así se convierte a Pérez Zeledón en uno de los cantones de mayor producción literario (en la actualidad) del país. En su primera etapa de funciones el grupo crea la revista literaria Alborada, que posteriormente recibe el nombre de Diquís. Para septiembre de 1998 se consolida esté moviendo literaria mediante la fundación de la Asociación de Escritores y Editores de Pérez Zeledón, y a su vez la Editorial Kamuk. En este movimiento literario se estima que se han publicado más de trecientos libros, prevaleciendo el género de poesía, seguido de cuento y novela, además algunos ensayos. Los precursores del movimiento literario, previo a las acciones específicas en Pérez Zeledón, algunos asistieron al taller que coordinaba Laureano Albán. Con suficiente motivación, reciben impulso motivacional importante, así es como el sábado 4 de noviembre de 1978, cuando William Garbanzo Vargas y Hernán Cruz Rodríguez en una ceremonia en la Casa de ANDE se les entrega un premio por poesía. Este premio correspondió al concurso de poesía organizado, como parte del trabajo académico de las jóvenes Betsey Sánchez Ureña, Elizabeth Chanto, Marilú Ceciliano y Dafne Monge, estudiantes del Centro Regional de la Universidad Nacional, en Pérez Zeledón. Sin embargo, es en 1982 cuando se inicia el Certamen Literario Brunca, donde Melvin Méndez gana en cuento con “El loco del violín”, y en poesía gana Anabelly Solís Varela con “Mujer o sufrimiento”. No es necesario incluir más palabras para demostrar que un concurso literario tiene el poder transformar toda una región, de impulsar todo un movimiento y dejar un legado por décadas, como lo hace el Certamen Literario Brunca, que cumple cuarenta años este 2022. This award was part of a poetry contest organized as part of the academic work of the young women Betsey Sánchez Ureña, Elizabeth Chanto, Marilú Ceciliano, and Dafne Monge, students at the Regional Center of the National University in Pérez Zeledón.
