This is not a diagnosis typical of a formal faculty evaluation process. That is, it was not designed and executed in a rigorous and gradual manner. It is, rather, a combination of data from internal documents and activities, prepared for various purposes, and from informal meetings and conversations that have taken place over the last three years. For this reason, it is fair to say that many of the ideas raised here remain with other colleagues. To the extent possible, and when this occurs, the Source will be specified. Although the “ideal” would have been a diagnosis proposed within the terms of Institutional planning, it is valid to affirm that the information presented corresponds, to a high degree, to the reality of the faculty since it was intended for that purpose. It is also interesting to highlight that, leaving aside the hyper-rationalist bias that usually characterizes the training, much of the saying “in groups” contains much more truth than what is collected in official questionnaires.
