Lineamientos de política para el mejoramiento de las condiciones laborales de las mujeres transexuales de la región Central de Costa Rica

Resumen
El fin de esta investigación es visibilizar la empleabilidad de las mujeres transexuales, en aras de brindar una propuesta de lineamientos de política pública desde la esfera económica que reconozca los retos a los cuales se enfrenta esta población en la región Central de Costa Rica, e identificar así los posibles focos de acción desde el accionar político.
Debido a la falta de compromisos políticos con esta población, entre ellos proveerle acceso al empleo formal, en este trabajo se expondrán las condiciones socioeconómicas y de barreras laborales en cuatro apartados, haciendo un llamado de atención tanto a la academia como al gobierno en la toma de decisiones, con el propósito de iniciar y consolidar un cambio drástico que beneficie a esta población y logre mitigar la marginalización y exclusión en el mercado laboral.
La estructura del documento responde, en su primer capítulo, al abordaje de la problematización del tema expuesto, la presentación de antecedentes y la formulación de los objetivos que se propone esta investigación. Seguidamente, en los capítulos 2 y 3 respectivamente, se abordan los aspectos teórico-metodológicos que permitan al lector conocer la terminología y los abordajes teóricos que abrazan esta temática, así como la forma en la que la investigación se ejecutó. En los capítulos 4, 5 y 6 se presentan los principales resultados obtenidos del alcance de los primeros tres objetivos de la investigación.
En el capítulo 7 se aborda el cuarto objetivo específico, referente a la propuesta de lineamientos de política económica. El cierre del trabajo lo aporta el capítulo 8, que suministra las conclusiones y recomendaciones del estudio.
The purpose of this research is to make visible the employability of transsexual women, in order to provide a proposal for public policy guidelines from the economic sphere that recognizes the challenges faced by this population in the Central region of Costa Rica, and to identify thus the possible focuses of action from political action. Due to the lack of political commitments with this population, including providing access to formal employment, in this work the socioeconomic conditions and labor barriers will be exposed in four sections, calling attention to both the academy and the government in the decision-making process. of decisions, with the purpose of initiating and consolidating a drastic change that benefits this population and manages to mitigate marginalization and exclusion in the labor market. The structure of the document responds, in its first chapter, to the approach to the problematization of the exposed topic, the presentation of background information and the formulation of the objectives proposed by this research. Next, in chapters 2 and 3 respectively, the theoretical-methodological aspects are addressed that allow the reader to know the terminology and theoretical approaches that embrace this topic, as well as the way in which the research was carried out. Chapters 4, 5 and 6 present the main results obtained from the scope of the first three objectives of the research. Chapter 7 addresses the fourth specific objective, referring to the proposal of economic policy guidelines. The closing of the work is provided by chapter 8, which provides the conclusions and recommendations of the study.
