We are going to try to reflect with our reader on British imperialism, with the help of one of its two most beloved writers, and also one of its most lucid ideologues. Nobel Prize for literature in 1907, Rudyard Kipling (1865 - 1936) can be a very useful analyst to understand with some amplitude the true intentions of British imperialism, during the second part of the 19th century, that is to say between the years from 1850 to 1920; although on this occasion we will concentrate on the study of the period 1880-1914.
