Estudio de factibilidad para la operación de un centro de cuido profesional y alojamiento de mascotas domésticas en el distrito San Isidro de Pérez Zeledón

Abstract

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo determinar mediante el estudio de factibilidad la apertura de un negocio dedicado al cuido profesional y alojamiento de mascotas domésticas en el cantón de Pérez Zeledón. Dicho estudio fue realizado por los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional, Carlos Guillermo Elizondo Rojas, Jennifer María Sánchez Vargas y Wendy Solís Solís. Con el auge del cuidado responsable de mascotas, se ha desarrollado en el mercado un catálogo de productos y servicios para este sector, ejerciendo aún más crecimiento. Por ello, el presente proyecto surge a partir de esta inquietud, de cómo cubrir dichas eventualidades, como lo es brindar un servicio y espacio con óptimas condiciones y que a su vez se encuentre cercano a su hogar, enfocando el proyecto hacia un negocio de cuido profesional y alojamiento de mascotas domésticas. En cuanto a determinar la viabilidad de este proyecto se tomó en cuenta diferentes estudios el primero de ellos, es el estudio de mercado en donde según datos obtenidos, el mercado meta muestra interés en obtener el servicio y en los servicios complementarios, uno de los motivos es que los dueños cuando salen de sus casas suelen dejar a sus mascotas con familiares, en cuanto a la competencia existe poca competencia en el área con estas características. En el estudio técnico, se identificó la localización adecuada para el centro, así como, el tamaño, la ingeniería del proyecto, la estructura física, el proceso de prestación de servicios y la estimación de costos de estos. Asimismo, en el estudio organizacional, se establece una estructura de la organización y visualmente se muestra por medio de un organigrama, además de esto se establece el recurso humano y perfil de puestos, manual de puestos, manual de políticas y salario administrativo con el que contará la organización. Sobre los requerimientos legales, debido a que el centro de cuido y alojamiento no cuenta con ningún documento para ejercer la actividad, se establece en el estudio los pasos para adquirir cada uno de los permisos que se requieren para el funcionamiento del local y también los requerimientos que van a necesitar una vez iniciada la actividad. Para finalizar, se realizó el estudio financiero donde se utilizó herramientas financieras y contables como flujos proyectados tomando en cuenta.

The objective of this project is to determine through a feasibility study the opening of a business dedicated to the professional care and lodging of domestic pets in the canton of Pérez Zeledón. This study was conducted by the students of the Universidad Nacional, Carlos Guillermo Elizondo Rojas, Jennifer María Sánchez Vargas and Wendy Solís Solís. With the boom of responsible pet care, a catalog of products and services for this sector has been developed in the market, which is growing even more. Therefore, this project arises from this concern, how to cover such eventualities, such as providing a service and space with optimal conditions and that in turn is close to home, focusing the project towards a business of professional care and accommodation of domestic pets. In order to determine the feasibility of this project, different studies were taken into account, the first of them is the market study where according to data obtained, the target market shows interest in obtaining the service and complementary services, one of the reasons is that the owners when they leave their homes usually leave their pets with relatives, as for the competition there is little competition in the area with these characteristics. The technical study identified the appropriate location for the center, as well as the size, project engineering, physical structure, service provision process, and cost estimates. In addition, the organizational study establishes the organizational structure and visually shows it through an organizational chart, as well as the human resources and job profiles, job manual, policy manual, and administrative salary that the organization will have. Regarding the legal requirements, since the care and lodging center does not have any document to exercise the activity, the study establishes the steps to acquire each one of the permits required for the operation of the premises and also the requirements that will be needed once the activity is initiated. Finally, the financial study was carried out using financial and accounting tools such as projected cash flows taking into account.
