Estrategia para el mejoramiento en la calidad de los servicios en el Centro de Educación y Nutrición (CEN) de San Pedro de Pérez Zeledón, periodo 2021

Resumen
El presente informe de investigación final modalidad proyecto, se constituyó
en una propuesta aplicable en el CEN de San Pedro como estrategia para el
mejoramiento en la calidad de los servicios brindados por la institución, lo anterior,
con el propósito de solventar las debilidades del quehacer institucional identificadas
desde la disciplina de Planificación Económica y Promoción Social.
De esta manera, se elaboró la estrategia con una metodología participativa
donde las funcionarias del CEN de San Pedro identificaron las áreas por mejorar
en su quehacer institucional y la forma de atenderlas desde una propuesta; donde
las investigadoras fueron las facilitadoras durante el proceso investigativo.
Por lo tanto, para recabar los principales hallazgos y resultados se realizaron
cuatro talleres participativos en las instalaciones del CEN de San Pedro; en el
primer taller, se aplicó la herramienta FODA para identificar las fortalezas,
oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas que posee la institución de manera interna
y externa. Lo anterior, resultó importante para conocer de primera entrada el
quehacer institucional que dio origen a la situación problemática.
En cuanto a las fortalezas del CEN San Pedro sobresalieron las siguientes:
estimulación a los infantes, líderes en atención infantil los 2000 días de vida,
proveedores de un servicio esencial, alimentación de calidad y completa,
conocimiento de los funcionarios del marco estratégico, suficiente material
didáctico, excelente área de desarrollo, trabajo en equipo, excelente
acompañamiento a los infantes, excelente estimulación y apertura de un nuevo
servicio Atención y Protección Infantil.
This final research report, project modality, was constituted in a proposal applicable to the San Pedro CEN as a strategy for the improvement in the quality of the services provided by the institution, the above, with the purpose of solving the weaknesses of the institutional work identified from the discipline of Economic Planning and Social Promotion. In this way, the strategy was developed with a participatory methodology where the officials of the CEN of San Pedro identified the areas to improve in its institutional work and the way of attending to them from a proposal; where the researchers were the facilitators during the investigative process. Therefore, to collect the main findings and results, four participatory workshops at the CEN facilities in San Pedro; at first workshop, the SWOT tool was applied to identify the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats that the institution has internally and external. The foregoing was important to know firsthand the institutional task that gave rise to the problematic situation. As for the strengths of CEN San Pedro, the following stood out: stimulation of infants, leaders in child care for the 2000 days of life, providers of an essential service, quality and complete food, staff knowledge of the strategic framework, sufficient material didactic, excellent development area, teamwork, excellent accompaniment to infants, excellent stimulation and opening of a new Child Care and Protection service.
