This paper aims to provide information on the corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices implemented by two companies, which have been designated as a Banking Company and a Financial Company for the purposes of this study, since their names cannot be revealed due to confidentiality policies. It should be noted that the data was collected based on the perceptions of their employees. To understand CSR, it is necessary to first note that globalization is generating changes in companies, specifically in the economies of countries, while also causing a social transformation. From an administrative perspective, companies consider their economic purpose and financial goals in such a way that they can contribute to the process of building a better society. Therefore, a balance must be created in the generation of profits and the operations carried out by companies that benefit society and the environment, in parallel with a constant desire for ethics. In the past, ethics and business were considered incompatible. However, companies currently work within globalized frameworks, which allow them to remain within the economic market, provided they follow parameters or make decisions that favor their profits and their relationships with other companies. CSR considers duties to society, the environment, and their employees as an inherent part of developed businesses, which minimizes the impact that may arise on communities and nature as a result of the various actions of organizations' daily activities. As a social institution, companies have a specific role to play, but the results of their readjustments and reengineering transcend economic aspects and reach other spheres of individuals' lives. The aim is to understand what they are doing with respect to corporate social responsibility. This work involved a field study, which was developed using social sciences and business administration theory. The instrument used to conduct the study was a questionnaire, which enabled the collection of information about the perception of CSR, allowing for the development of new knowledge and the review of certain ideas or concepts in future research. For the purpose of conducting the study, we identified how the concept of CSR is expressed in the financial and banking companies based on implemented projects, programs, and plans.
