This document is based on the elaboration of a zoning of critical areas of structural ecological connectivity for the Tibás River micro-watershed, which corresponds to the western boundary of the corridor and covers the area of interest over which the new territorial boundary is to be established. In this area, structural ecological connectivity is part of the ecological connectivity studies needed to define a new boundary for the corridor. Thus, the study is based on the evaluation of the physical or structural conditions of the Tibás River micro-watershed in order to identify and describe the degree of structural ecological connectivity it possesses, serving as input for the preparation of a subsequent technical profile on the expansion of the CBIPT.
