Resumen
En esta investigación se analizan aspectos de carácter conceptual, conformantes de premisas estético- literarias concernientes a lo monstruoso. Para ello, se toman muestras de la narrativa centroamericana entre 1940 y 1980. Se postula, mediante el marco de referencia conceptual como un constructo cultural modificado por manifestaciones sociohistóricas y literarias. Por tanto, se explica este fenómeno según los principios metodológicos y conceptuales de los denominados Estudios Culturales, ya que ofrecen posibilidades de análisis y de interpretación aproximadas a diversas composiciones de lo estético-ideológico en los textos literarios de las épocas en estudio. Por ello se apunta a analizar y describir la formulación de un canon alternativo (anticanon), desde el punto de vista literario, pues se aparta del discurso habitual (considerado normativo). Por consiguiente, se presenta un análisis histórico sobre el tema, en algunos cuentos centroamericanos, entre 1940 a 1980; en seguida, el modo de configuración de seres o personajes monstruosos, según el papel de la cultura popular en el corpus elegido.
In this research are analyzed aspects of a conceptual nature, forming aestheticliterary premises concerning to the monstrous. For this, are taken samples of the Central American narrative from 1940 to 1980. It is postulated, through the conceptual framework as a cultural construct modified by socio-historical and literary manifestations. Therefore, this phenomenon is explained according to the methodological and conceptual principles of the Cultural Studies because they offer an approximate analysis and interpretation possibilities to various aesthetic-ideological compositions in the literary texts of the periods under study. With this, it aims to analyze and describe the formulation of an alternative canon (anticanon), from a literary point of view, as it departs from the usual discourse (considered normative). Hence, a historical analysis is presented on the subject, in some Central American short stories, between 1940 and 1980; next, the configuration mode of monstrous beings or characters, according to the role of popular culture in the chosen corpus.
