Resumen
En el Corredor biológico Alexander Skutch localizado en el cantón de Pérez Zeledón el turismo rural se concibe como una de las actividades económicas sostenibles que tiene un alto potencial, que pondría en valor varios de los capitales presentes, al fortalecer las capacidades humanas locales, el aprovechamiento sostenible de los atractivos naturales, culturales y sociales; la diversificación de actividades productivas y la generación de recursos económicos. Es por ello que se desarrolló el proyecto Fortalecimiento y desarrollo de capacidades para la creación y gestión de las microempresas turísticas. Este propicio el uso de metodologías participativas mediante la observación, percepción, convivios comunales, experiencias vivenciales, giras de intercambio y talleres de participación activa. Lo cual generó capacidades administrativas y asociativas como formas de mejorar la gestión de las microempresas turísticas en las organizaciones de base comunitaria, el consejo local del Corredor biológico, empresarios turísticos y habitantes en general de las comunidades de San Francisco, Santa Elena, Quizarrá, Santa Marta, San Ignacio, Montecarlo y Santa María.
In the Alexander Skutch Biological Corridor located in the canton of Pérez Zeledón rural tourism conceived as one of the sustainable economic activities, it has a high potential that would value several of the present capitals, by strengthening local human capacities. Sustainable use of natural, cultural and social attractions; the diversification of productive activities and the generation of economic resources. That is why the project Strengthening and developing capacities for the creation and management of tourism microenterprises was developed; this is conducive to the use of participatory methodologies through observation, perception, communal living, experiences, exchange tours and active participation workshops. Which provided contributions in administrative and associative capacities as ways to improve the management of tourist microenterprises in community-based organizations, the local council of the biological Corridor, tourism entrepreneurs and inhabitants in general of the communities of San Francisco, Santa Elena, Quizarrá , Santa Marta, San Ignacio, Montecarlo and Santa Maria.
