Viraje histórico : urgencia de creatividad

Abstract

La conciencia de que vivimos en una época única, simultáneamente excitante y aterradora, incita a la búsqueda de fundamentos teóricos adecuados de nuestros tiempos. Con este trabajo quiero compartir una serie de inquietudes de carácter personal y dar a conocer los aportes teóricos del psicólogo Robert Jay Lifton, de reconocida trayectoria en la Universidad de New York. La totalidad de este trabajo es una traducción parafrásica de conceptos tomados principalmente de su obra The life ot the Self.

The awareness that we live in a unique time, simultaneously exciting and terrifying, prompts the search for adequate theoretical foundations of our times. With this work I want to share a series of concerns of a personal nature and present the theoretical contributions of the psychologist Robert Jay Lifton, with a well-known career at New York University. The entirety of this work is a paraphrasic translation of concepts taken mainly from his work The life ot the Self.
