Resumen
El presente proyecto se llevó a cabo en las ASADAS de San Bosco y Los Olivos, Cabeceras, Las Nubes y La Esperanza ubicadas en el distrito de Cabeceras de Tilarán, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, con el fin de fortalecer sus capacidades administrativas y técnicas para mejorar la calidad del servicio de agua potable a sus comunidades. Para esto se aplicó el diagnóstico (PME) para evaluar dichas capacidades, se realizó una evaluación de la infraestructura actual de los acueductos, se elaboraron los balances hídricos para conocer sus capacidades hídricas, se llevó a cabo el levantamiento de sus acueductos para ubicar geográficamente sus componentes y se confeccionaron afiches con temas relacionados a la gestión del agua que contribuyeron a consolidar la relación de la universidad con la sociedad, esto con el apoyo de FOCAES. Este estudio evidenció la situación actual de estas ASADAS e identificó los aspectos por mejorar para brindar el servicio de agua potable de manera sostenible en calidad, cantidad y continuidad.
This project was carried out in the ASADAS of San Bosco and Los Olivos, Cabeceras, Las Nubes and La Esperanza located in the district of Cabeceras de Tilarán, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, in order to strengthen their administrative and technical capacities to improve the quality of drinking water service to their communities.
