Marco 1.21-29 A : estudio literario y socio-religioso

Abstract

El artículo estudia el primer relato de exorcismo en el Evangelio según Marcos 1.21-29a. La comparación de ese breve relato con otros textos pertinentes de esa época muestra que Jesús no fue un exorcista y por esta razón nos preguntamos cuál es la mejor forma de entender el tipo social de Jesús. Este tipo de trabajo nos ayuda a ver la Biblia con ojos nuevos y, en consecuencia, modificar muchas premisas que tenemos y que cultivan el fundamentalismo.

The article studies the first exorcism story in the Gospel according to Mark 1.21-29a. The compari-son of that brief account with other relevant texts of that time shows that Jesus was not an exorcist and for this reason we wonder what is the best way to understand the social type of Jesus. This type of work helps us see the Bible with new eyes and, consequently, modify many premises that we have and that cultivate fundamentalism.
