This paper aims to systematize the theoretical and methodological elements of the implementation of Research Seedbeds in various countries, to be implemented in the School of Sociology as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen students' research training. Research Seedbeds are spaces where research skills are developed in an environment of safety and solidarity, promoting comprehensive training and critical thinking. These initiatives foster generational feedback, interdisciplinarity, and academic autonomy. At the theoretical level, the paper uses the conceptual foundations obtained from a bibliographic review of publications documenting the implementation of research seedbeds in the social sciences in various countries. The key question of this bibliographical research focuses on: How can this pedagogical practice improve research training and contribute to students' disciplinary development? To this end, the conceptual and methodological foundations necessary for implementing Research Incubators in the School of Sociology at the National University were identified, as well as the challenges and opportunities that arise from formalizing these Incubators in the current context of higher education in the Social Sciences. The proposed methodology includes a qualitative approach that includes a bibliographic review and interviews with international experts who have implemented research incubators at universities. Preliminary results suggest that formalizing the Incubators could strengthen the research culture in the School of Sociology and that there is considerable student interest in participating. Systematizing these practices would not only improve the dissemination of graduation projects but would also allow students to develop critical and methodological skills from an early stage. The consolidation of this practice could represent a significant advance in research training and the strengthening of the sociological discipline.
