Resumen
Reutipiña era un proyecto biotecnológico de triple impacto que buscaba alternativas limpias para el aprovechamiento de las biomasas agroindustriales derivadas del cultivo de la piña y la mitigación del impacto ambiental generado por el desarrollo de esta práctica agrícola ampliamente difundida en Costa Rica. Su propósito había sido favorecer a las comunidades mediante la generación de nuevas fuentes de empleo y contribuir a la industria piñera propiciando prácticas productivas más limpias.
Reutipiña was a triple-impact biotechnology project that sought clean alternatives for the use of agroindustrial biomasses derived from pineapple cultivation and mitigation of the environmental impact generated by the development of this agricultural practice, which is widespread in Costa Rica. Its purpose was to benefit the communities by generating new sources of employment and to contribute to the pineapple industry by promoting cleaner production practices.
