In this research has been taken as object of study the distribution and production company of Costa Rican veterinary products Faryvet S.A. Specifically what has arisen in this research is to develop the Nicaraguan poultry feed market and thus, to understand what are the conditions with which Faryvet S.A is faced with the time to enter the market of Nicaraguan poultry nutrition. The first chapter has developed the different tariff regulations that determine the export of products under heading 2309 from Costa Rica to Nicaragua. Thanks to this section, it was possible to determine that the tariff conditions between Central American countries are favorable to trade in products under this tariff heading. This is due to the fact that there are trade agreements that facilitate the export of mixtures and pre-mixes for poultry nutrition (specifically under heading 2309) among countries in the zone, including Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The second chapter explores the state of the Nicaraguan market which directly affects the consumption of mixtures and pre-mixes. In this case the state of markets such as the direct market of mixtures and pre-mixes for poultry nutrition is determined, as well as the state of markets linked to it. These markets are those focused on human consumption of chicken meat, chickens and eggs. Through the linkage of the study of these markets, it has been possible to determine that the export of mixtures and pre-mixes within heading 2309 is a niche that is constantly growing at the country level. The last chapter describes and develops the real competition that exists at the Nicaraguan level regarding companies that are present in the market of mixtures and pre-mixes. These competitors have remained in the Nicaraguan market in a historical way and are the factor that determines the supply of products. Within the same chapter also the characteristics of the companies are evidenced, as they are compared with the company Faryvet S.A. and its characteristics. As a conclusion, it has been shown that the characteristics of the Nicaraguan market of mixtures and pre-mixes, as well as the food market, place Nicaragua in a fertile market, within which Faryvet SA has a great possibility of successfully entering the market in Nicaraguan territory
