Resumen
Está investigación tuvo como propósito analizar la existencia de Literatura para niños generaleña en el cantón de Pérez Zeledón. El análisis es de tipo descriptivo y se enmarco dentro del enfoque cualitativo, ya que con este tema se pretende analizar si las docentes utilizan los recursos literarios del cantón, con base en entrevistas detalladas a las docentes de preescolar, escritores de literatura para niños generaleños y expertos en literatura. Además mediante la utilización de matrices se interpreta la información suministrada por los sujetos. La población estuvo formada por docentes, escritores y expertos, a los cuales se les aplicó diferentes tipos de instrumentos entre los que resaltan: la entrevista a profundidad y análisis de contenidos, necesarios para una investigación cualitativa. Después de realizar el presente trabajo de investigación se concluye que la literatura es una herramienta indispensable en el trabajo de aula, el cantón cuenta con gran cantidad de libros dirigidos al público infantil, sin embargo la literatura infantil generaleña es un área que está muy prematura, puesto que la gran mayoría de la población la desconoce. Por otra parte, el programa de lecturas del Ministerio de Educación debería ser modificado, ya que actualmente no se toma en cuenta el ciclo de materno infantil y el ciclo de transición, además en el cantón existen obras de buena calidad, las cuales pueden ser incluidas en este. Se recomienda también que los participantes del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje tomen en cuenta las obras producidas en el cantón.
The purpose of this research was to analyze the existence of general children's literature in the canton of Pérez Zeledón. The analysis is descriptive and is framed within the qualitative approach, since the purpose of this topic is to analyze whether teachers use the literary resources of the canton, based on detailed interviews with preschool teachers, writers of literature for generaleño children and literature experts. In addition, the information provided by the subjects was interpreted through the use of matrices. The population consisted of teachers, writers and experts, to whom different types of instruments were applied, among which the following stand out: the in-depth interview and content analysis, necessary for a qualitative research. After conducting this research work, it is concluded that literature is an indispensable tool in classroom work, the canton has a large number of books aimed at children, however, children's literature in general is an area that is very premature, since the vast majority of the population is unaware of it. On the other hand, the reading program of the Ministry of Education should be modified, since it currently does not take into account the maternal-child cycle and the transition cycle, and there are good quality works in the canton, which can be included in it. It is also recommended that the participants in the teaching-learning process take into account the works produced in the canton.
