Resumen
Este trabajo es un análisis descriptivo, sobre los factores familiares, emocionales y académicos que inciden en el surgimiento del pensamiento suicida, en los adolescentes y es desarrollada en La Escuela de Excelencia La Piñera de Buenos Aires de Puntarenas durante el 2006. El trabajo se respalda por medio del análisis de conceptos relacionados con la etapa de la adolescencia, el surgimiento de conflictos, el comportamiento suicida y la forma en que se manifiesta este comportamiento en los ambientes familiares, emocionales y académicos de los individuos. La investigación fue realizada tomando en cuenta el análisis descriptivo, que analiza la realidad del comportamiento de los adolescentes en la escuela, para interpretar el conocimiento de los estudiantes en relación con el tema del suicidio. Se utilizó un instrumento aplicado a los estudiantes de 6° grado, para determinar según la opinión, la influencia que tienen los factores mencionados con el hecho de que los jóvenes piensen en el suicidio. La información recopilada se presenta por medio del análisis de las variables, ilustradas a través de cuadros y gráficos, los cuales facilitan la interpretación de los datos. De las conclusiones que se obtienen destacan el que se considere que los factores académicos no tienen influencia, en el surgimiento del pensamiento suicida y los factores emocionales y académicos influyen de forma alta. De esta forma se formulan las recomendaciones guiadas a padres de familia, docentes y adolescentes
This work is a descriptive analysis of the family, emotional and academic factors that influence the emergence of suicidal thinking in adolescents and is developed at La Piñera School of Excellence in Buenos Aires, Puntarenas, during 2006. The work is supported by the analysis of concepts related to the adolescence stage, the emergence of conflicts, suicidal behavior and the way in which this behavior is manifested in the family, emotional and academic environments of individuals. The research was conducted taking into account the descriptive analysis, which analyzes the reality of adolescents' behavior at school, in order to interpret the students' knowledge in relation to the topic of suicide. An instrument applied to 6th grade students was used to determine, according to their opinion, the influence that the mentioned factors have on the fact that young people think about suicide. The information collected is presented by means of the analysis of the variables, illustrated through tables and graphs, which facilitate the interpretation of the data. From the conclusions obtained, it is highlighted that academic factors have no influence on the emergence of suicidal thinking and that emotional and academic factors have a high influence. In this way, recommendations are formulated for parents, teachers and adolescents.
