Resumen
Investiga las características que presentan los estudiantes con talento matemático ante tareas de invención de problemas de aritmética. Se centra en caracterizar, de forma exploratoria, la actuación de un grupo de estudiantes considerados con talento matemático ante dos tareas semiestructuradas de invención de problemas aritméticos, y compararlo con las actuaciones que presentan un grupo de estudiantes de un colegio público ante la misma tarea. Además se busca identificar algunos indicios del uso de la invención de problemas como herramienta para identificar estudiantes con talento en matemática. Se utilizó una población de 21 estudiantes y más 25 alumnos seleccionados de diferentes centros escogidos mediante la realización de pruebas de selección.
It investigates the characteristics presented by mathematically talented students in arithmetic problem invention tasks. It focuses on characterizing, in an exploratory way, the performance of a group of students considered mathematically talented in two semi-structured tasks of arithmetic problem invention, and comparing it with the performance of a group of students from a public school in the same task. In addition, we seek to identify some indications of the use of problem invention as a tool to identify students with talent in mathematics. A population of 21 students was used, plus 25 students selected from different schools by means of selection tests.
