Resumen
Para mantener la ventaja competitiva, la Caja ha de garantizar que sus iniciativas de Tecnología de la Información (TI), ayudan a obtener éxito empresarial, al menor costo posible y con riesgos manejables.
Esta ventaja competitiva a la cual nos referimos es de suma importancia, debido a que en este caso la Caja está en la mira de casi todos los entes financieros, de salud, gubernamentales y el público en general, que de una u otra forma se relacionan con esta Institución, ya que, aunque se denomina semiautónoma, es regulada por las políticas de gobierno y por otras leyes nacionales que definen su quehacer.
En este sentido y amparados al artículo 74 de la Constitución Política del país, la Caja está obligada a brindar los servicios a sus asegurados, estableciendo para tal propósito, un esquema organizativo y estratégico. Una parte de este esquema, es el servicio Financiero el cual veremos con más detalle sin dejar de lado por supuesto, el otro gran servicio Médico y otras ramificaciones propias de la Administración de los Recursos como lo son los servicios: administrativos y de operaciones. Estos servicios están identificados operativamente como Gerencias, donde se destaca la primera.
To maintain competitive advantage, the Fund must ensure that its Information Technology (IT) initiatives help achieve business success, at the lowest possible cost and with manageable risks. This competitive advantage to which we refer is extremely important, because in this case the Fund is in the sights of almost all financial, health, government entities and the general public, which in one way or another are related with this Institution, since, although it is called semi-autonomous, it is regulated by government policies and by other national laws that define its work. In this sense and protected by article 74 of the Political Constitution of the country, the Bank is obliged to provide services to its policyholders, establishing an organizational and strategic scheme for this purpose. One part of this scheme is the Financial service which we will see in more detail without leaving aside, of course, the other great Medical service and other ramifications of the Administration of Resources such as services: administrative and operations. These services are operationally identified as Managements, where the first one stands out.
