Sistematización de experiencias del proyecto de extensión FUNDER, 2019-2021: análisis territorial del sistema turístico de la Región Brunca para potenciar la participación de la universidad en el desarrollo de la actividad turística de la región

Abstract

Desde una perspectiva institucional y académica, resulta provechoso abrir espacios en donde exista integración y participación desde la Universidad hacia la sociedad civil, pero más aún cuando esos elementos asocien el involucramiento de agentes tan significativos para los centros de estudio como lo son los estudiantes en vinculación con la población general, de donde sobresalen emprendimientos y asociaciones de base comunal. Con la presente sistematización de experiencias del proyecto FUNDER sobre el Análisis Territorial del Sistema Turístico de la Región Brunca para potenciar la participación de la Universidad en el desarrollo de la actividad turística de la Región, se pretende resaltar la participación que tuvieron los actores involucrados en el aumento, tanto de las capacidades técnico administrativas a nivel empresarial, así como el crear mecanismos de divulgación y promoción de los diversos atractivos naturales y estructurales que existen a lo largo y ancho de la región, para lograr así no sólo un mayor posicionamiento turístico a nivel global, sino en aras de dar un fortalecimiento a la competitividad de la región Brunca. Para esto es que se ha implementado la aplicación de una metodología de análisis, investigación, capacitación, acompañamiento y creación de ciertos productos como el caso de las bases de datos, revista, guías de turismo, artículos y ponencias entre otros, de todo esto se busca no sólo impactar positivamente en el desarrollo regional del turismo y de su debida promoción global, sino de alguna manera fortalecer las capacidades empresariales, a la vez que se busca dar mayor participación estudiantil y que sean en gran medida los estudiantes los que tengan un papel fundamental durante el desarrollo del proyecto.

From an institutional and academic perspective, it is beneficial to open spaces where there is integration and participation from the University towards civil society, but even more so when these elements associate the involvement of agents as significant for the centers of study as are the students in connection with the general population, where community-based enterprises and associations stand out. With this systematization of experiences of the FUNDER project on the Territorial Analysis of the Tourism System of the Brunca Region to enhance the participation of the University in the development of tourism in the region, it is intended to highlight the participation of the actors involved in the increase, both of the technical and administrative capacities at the business level, as well as the creation of mechanisms for dissemination and promotion of the various natural and structural attractions that exist throughout the region, to achieve not only a better positioning of tourism globally, but in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the Brunca region. For this, we have implemented the application of a methodology of analysis, research, training, accompaniment and creation of certain products such as databases, magazines, tourism guides, articles and papers among others, all of this seeks not only to positively impact the regional development of tourism and its due global promotion, but somehow strengthen entrepreneurial skills, while seeking to give greater student participation and that students are largely those who have a key role during the development of the project.
