La resolución y planteamiento de problemas como estrategia metodológica en clases de matemática

Abstract

En el presente artículo se exploran algunos elementos que intervienen en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de contenidos matemáticos empleando la resolución y planteamiento de problemas como estrategia metodológica. Para ello se utilizan, a manera de ejemplo, algunas experiencias didácticas realizadas por el autor al utilizar este tipo de estrategias en clases de matemática. Los resultados muestran la viabilidad, pertinencia y aspectos positivos de emplear este tipo de actividades, así como la importancia del trabajo del profesor como organizador y guía de la clase y del estudiante como responsable de su propio aprendizaje.

This article explores some elements that intervene in the teaching and learning process of mathematical contents using the problem solving and posing as a methodological strategy. For this purpose, there are used, as an example, some didactic experiences made by the author when using this type of strategies in mathematics classes. The results show the feasibility, pertinence, and positive aspects of using this type of activities, as well as the importance of the work of the teacher as class organizer and guide and the student as responsible for their own learning.
