International cooperation plays a relevant role in the development processes of countries. Costa Rica, despite having achieved high socioeconomic indexes compared to the rest of the Central American region, still faces great challenges. This is the case of unemployment, which is aggravated when it comes to vulnerable population, such as young people. Spanish cooperation has worked on this issue with successful results, through initiatives such as the Schools-Workshop Program, in which the present project is framed. This program seeks to address unemployment through the training of young people in occupations demanded by the labor market. Therefore, the project "Green Employability: an alternative to unemployment among young people at social risk in Costa Rica. Spanish Cooperation Schools-Workshop Program. 2016", following the Logical Framework methodology in the formulation, proposes the training of young people in green jobs, an approach that not only responds to the country's unemployment problem, but also seeks to promote and support the sustainable development to which it aims.
