El pensamiento de Monseñor Ignacio Trejos Picado

Abstract

Una de las exigencias del costarricense, y en particular del teólogo y del estudiante de teología hoy, es conocer el pensamiento teológico pastoral de aquellas personalidades que es este mismo momento ejercen una significativa influencia en nuestro pueblo. Precisamente para responder a esta exigencia, nosotros como “certificado de licencia en teología”, hemos decidido trabajar desde distintos acercamientos en la documentación de los diferentes monseñores de Costa Rica y la Conferencia Episcopal. En particular, nos tocó trabajar en la documentación de Monseñor Ignacio Trejos Picado, obispo de la diócesis de San Isidro de El General. Pero también el teólogo debe conocer el mundo social y político que rodea a estas personalidades porque, ese mundo, moldea efectivamente, de una manera u otra, el pensamiento de los mismos.

One of the demands of the Costa Rican, and in particular of the theologian and the student of theology today, is to know the pastoral theological thought of those personalities who at this very moment exert a significant influence on our people. Precisely to respond to this demand, we, as "certificate of license in theology", have decided to work from different approaches in the documentation of the different monsignors of Costa Rica and the Episcopal Conference. In particular, we had to work on the documentation of Monsignor Ignacio Trejos Picado, bishop of the diocese of San Isidro de El General. However the theologian must also know the social and political world that surrounds these personalities because that world, in one way or another, effectively shapes their thinking.
