Resumen
El Foro de Desarrollo Local: Universidad y Actores Sociales (2009), se efectúo en la Sede Regional Brunca de la Universidad Nacional (UNA). Dicho
evento fue coordinado por el Programa de Vinculación y Proyección Externa
de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional (“Campus
Omar Dengo”), con el apoyo de la Sede y la Compañía Nacional de Fuerza
y Luz (CNFL).
La actividad académica se realizó en el mes de octubre del 2009, en el cantón
de Pérez Zeledón, con la participación de académicos de la UNA, actores sociales (sindicalistas, cooperativistas, empresarios, agricultores, funcionarios
públicos, jefas de hogar, entre otros más) de la zona sur de Costa Rica, connotados académicos de otros países de Chile, Bolivia, Argentina y México. Por
ejemplo, la participación de Jacques Chonchol Chai exministro del gobierno
de Allende (especialista en el área de seguridad alimentaria), Jaime Delgadillo Pinto de la Universidad Mayor de San Simón (especialista en desarrollo
local endógeno), Guillermo Sullings director del Movimiento Humanista de
Argentina, Ana María Vera Smith representante de las organizaciones municipales de la región sur de México, entre otros más.
Por parte de las universidades nacionales, participaron la Universidad de Costa Rica, la EARTH, el ITCR y académicos de la UNA de las sedes regionales
de Chorotega y Región Brunca, escuelas de Sociología, Economía, Planificación Económica y Social y Ciencias Agrarias.
La representación de actores sociales de la zona sur, se compuso por la Liga
de Municipalidades del Sur (Municipalidades de los cantones de Osa, Golfito, Corredores, Buenos Aires, Coto Brus y Pérez Zeledón) así como representantes de las cooperativas COOPEAGRI, R.L., COOPEALIANZA, R.L.,
COOPEAGROPAL, UNACOOP, CONACOOP, JUDESUR, UPIAV, pescadores, Cámaras regionales de Turismo, comerciantes, agroindustriales, direcciones del IMAS, IDA, CNP, INA, MS, MAG, MTSS, MEP, etc.
Esperamos que el referente teórico-metodológico e instrumental que pueda
brindar este libro para el desarrollo local, potencialice la discusión y profundización temática en docentes, estudiantes, investigadores, extensionistas y
actores sociales que tienen algún vínculo con la Universidad Nacional.
The Local Development Forum: University and Social Actors (2009) was held at the Brunca Regional Headquarters of the National University (UNA). Saying event was coordinated by the Linkage and External Projection Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University (“Campus Omar Dengo”), with the support of the Headquarters and the National Force Company and Light (CNFL). The academic activity was carried out in the month of October 2009, in the canton of Pérez Zeledón, with the participation of UNA academics, social actors (unionists, cooperative members, businessmen, farmers, civil servants public, heads of household, among others) from the southern zone of Costa Rica, renowned academics from other countries such as Chile, Bolivia, Argentina and Mexico.
