Resumen
La finalidad de este documento se sustenta en un Estudio de Viabilidad Económica Financiera para la producción de arroz en Bagatzi, Guanacaste, para su comercialización en las arroceras de Guanacaste.
Dentro de la problemática, el equipo de investigación considera que la producción y comercialización de arroz es una oportunidad de negocio para el Proyecto CREO; ya que muchos agricultores y productores de la zona de Guanacaste han dejado de producir arroz por el mal manejo y desconocimientos de los métodos de producción, debido a que esto presentan altos costos y endeudamientos a la hora de producir arroz, por eso se endeudan; a raíz de esto el proyecto CREO visualiza un nicho de mercado, ya que la demanda que existe no solo es en Costa Rica si no a nivel mundial.
Como objetivo general se contempló determinar el estudio de viabilidad económica Financiera para la producción de arroz en Bagatzi, Guanacaste, para su comercialización en las arroceras de Guanacaste, y como específicos se desarrollaron: Realizar un estudio de mercado para la producción de arroz en Bagatzi, Guanacaste, para su comercialización en las arroceras de Guanacaste. Establecer un estudio técnico para la determinación de la inversión que requiere el proyecto, así como, los costos de producción del cultivo de arroz. Efectuar un estudio organizacional que permita el diseño de una estructura administrativa que se adapte a las necesidades del proyecto y Desarrollar un estudio legal y ambiental que facilite el conocimiento de los requisitos y normas que regulan la actividad.
La metodología empleada tiene un enfoque mixto el cual es cuantitativo y cualitativo, la recolección de información se llevó a cabo por medio de los siguientes instrumentos: encuesta semi estructura, entrevista semi estructurada, consultas y revisiones bibliográficas. Como conclusión, se determinó la aceptación del producto en las arroceras de la zona de Guanacaste, la reducción de costos para la producción, mostrando así la viabilidad del proyecto.
También se logró concluir que las tres arroceras encuestadas tienen preferencia por el tipo de semilla que ofrece la asociación CREO, afirmando, a la vez, el interés de compra por el producto, en este caso el arroz. Asimismo, se determinó que cada arrocera establece el precio del arroz de acuerdo con diferentes factores. Por último, se menciona que el proyecto cuenta con una inversión inicial, la cual le permite salir adelante y como resultado se obtiene la viabilidad del proyecto. Como recomendación se determinó que los socios deben invertir en infraestructura física, maquinaria y equipo especializado, también la consideración de integrar nuevos socios y una mejor cobertura del cultivo en cuanto afectaciones climáticas.
The purpose of this document is based on a Financial Economic Viability Study for rice production in Bagatzi, Guanacaste, for its commercialization in Guanacaste Rice Companies. Within the problem, the research team considers that the production and rice marketing is a business opportunity for the CREO Project; since many farmers and producers in Guanacaste area have stopped producing rice due to poor management and lack of knowledge about production methods, therefore the rice farmers present high costs and indebtedness when it comes to producing rice, that is why they get into debt; As a result of this, the CREO project visualizes a market niche, since the demand that exist is not only in Costa Rica but worldwide. As a general objective, it was contemplated to determine the financial economic viability study for the rice production in Bagatzi, Guanacaste, for its commercialization in Guanacaste Rice companies , and as specifics, the following were developed: Carry out a market study for the rice in Bagatzi, for sale in Guanacaste rice companies . Establish a technical study to determine the investment required by the project, as well as the rice crop production costs. Carry out an organizational study that allows the design of an administrative structure that adapts to the needs of the project and Develop a legal and environmental study that facilitates the knowledge of the requirements and norms that regulate the activity. The methodology used has a mixed approach which is quantitative and qualitative, the collection of information was carried out through the following instruments: semi-structured survey, semi-structured interview, consultations and bibliographic reviews. In conclusion, the acceptance of the product in Guanacaste rice companies area, the reduction of production costs, thus showing the viability of the project, was determined. It was also concluded that the three Rice Companies surveyed have a preference for the type of seed offered by the CREO association, affirming, at the same time, the purchase interest in the product, in this case rice. Likewise, it will be reduced that each rice producer establishes the price of rice according to different factors. Finally, it is mentioned that the project has an initial investment, which allows it to move forward and as a result the viability of the project is obtained. As recommendations, it will be advanced that the associate should invest in physical infrastructure, machinery and specialized equipment, also the best consideration of integrating new associate and a best coverage of the crop in few climatic effects.
