Abstract

Este pequeño libro tiene como fin describir algunos de los componentes fundamentales del tiempo que nos ha tocado vivir. Va dirigido especial, pero no únicamente, a aquellas personas que nacieron cuando la Guerra Fría ya era solo un recuerdo que se perdía en la música, las series de televisión, el cine y las crónicas de las generaciones que nacieron a mitad del siglo XX. Por ello, constituye un intento para acercar a las nuevas generaciones a una explicación general del tiempo presente; extraño concepto que hace referencia a un periodo donde ciertos actores predominan y los fenómenos sociales más relevantes se mantienen relativamente estables.

The purpose of this small book is to describe some of the fundamental components of the time in which we live. It is aimed especially, but not only, at those people who were born when the Cold War was already just a memory that was lost in music, television series, cinema and the chronicles of the generations that were born in the middle of the twentieth century. For this reason, it constitutes an attempt to bring the new generations closer to a general explanation of the present time; a strange concept that refers to a period where certain actors predominate and the most relevant social phenomena remain relatively stable.
