Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad elaborar un plan estratégico para la Verdulería Audrey, ubicada en Sardinal, Carrillo, Guanacaste, con el objetivo de contribuir a su posicionamiento en el mercado. Como parte de los objetivos específicos, se realizó un análisis PESTEL y, seguidamente, se diagnosticó la situación actual de la microempresa mediante un modelo Canvas, con el fin de facilitar la toma de decisiones para la pyme. Finalmente, se elaboró un plan de acción para la Verdulería Audrey con el propósito de garantizar su posicionamiento en el mercado.
Los objetivos se llevaron a cabo mediante los siguientes instrumentos: observación, entrevistas, aplicación de cuestionarios a personas residentes del distrito de Carrillo, que incluye las localidades de Sardinal, Playas del Coco, Libertad, Comunidad, entre otras, además de revisiones bibliográficas. Con base en los resultados obtenidos, se identificó que el negocio debe mejorar en la inclusión de la tecnología, la contratación de personal y la publicidad y marketing. Por ello, se diseñó una estrategia para abordar estos puntos y mejorar el posicionamiento de la pyme en el mercado.
En el desarrollo de las estrategias, se determinó el costo de implementación de cada una de ellas. Asimismo, se identificó una alta demanda de los productos que vende la Verdulería Audrey, lo que presenta una oportunidad para mejorar el posicionamiento del negocio. Del análisis financiero se concluye que el proyecto genera riqueza y puede aumentar aún más aplicando las estrategias propuestas. Por lo tanto, se acepta el proyecto.
The purpose of this research project is to develop a strategic plan for Audrey’s Grocery, located in Sardinal, Carrillo, Guanacaste, aiming to enhance its market positioning. As part of the specific objectives, a PESTEL analysis was conducted, followed by an assessment of the current situation of the microenterprise using a Canvas model, to facilitate decision-making for the SME. Finally, an action plan was devised for Audrey’s Grocery to ensure its market positioning. The objectives were achieved using the following instruments: observation, interviews, and questionnaires administered to residents of the Carrillo district, including the localities of Sardinal, Playas del Coco, Libertad, Comunidad, among others, as well as bibliographic reviews. Based on the results obtained, it was identified that the business needs to improve in areas such as technology inclusion, hiring of personnel, and marketing and advertising. Therefore, a strategy was designed to address these points and enhance the SME’s market positioning. In developing the strategies, the cost of implementing each was determined. Additionally, a high demand for the products sold by Audrey’s Grocery was identified, presenting an opportunity to improve the business’s market positioning. The financial analysis concluded that the project generates wealth and can increase further by applying the proposed strategies. Consequently, the project is deemed acceptable.
