La migración: una análisis económico y social capítulos 6 y 7

Abstract

El presente trabajo de graduación consiste en la traducción de un texto elaborado por el Ministerio Británico del Interior, seguido de un informe de investigación: Migration: an economic and social análisis (La migración: un análisis económico y social), que consta de siete capítulos. Los que se tradujeron fueron los números VI y VII. El capítulo VI se titula: “The economic and social outcomes of migration” (Consecuencias económicas y sociales de la migración), y describe las características demográficas y socioeconómicas de los inmigrantes hacia el Reino Unido, así como las formas en que los inmigrantes influyen en la economía y la sociedad de esa nación. El capítulo VII: Possible future policy developmente (El probable desarrollo futuro de las políticas migratorias), es el último de la investigación y describe las áreas donde las políticas migratorias actuales deben fortalecerse, e identifica sectores específicos donde se aconseja realizar mejoras. El informe de investigación se divide en tres capítulos. Aspectos generales, el contexto cultural y político del Reino Unido y glosario de términos oficiales y culturales del Reino Unido, acompañado de un análisis del uso de las siglas de ese país.

This graduation work consists of the translation of a text prepared by the British Home Office, followed by a research report: Migration: an economic and social analysis, which consists of seven chapters. Those translated were numbers VI and VII. Chapter VI is entitled: "The economic and social outcomes of migration," and describes the demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of immigrants to the UK, as well as the ways in which immigrants influence the UK economy and society. Chapter VII: Possible future policy developments is the final chapter of the research and describes areas where current migration policies need to be strengthened and identifies specific areas where improvements are advised. The research report is divided into three chapters. General aspects, the cultural and political context of the United Kingdom and a glossary of official and cultural terms of the United Kingdom, accompanied by an analysis of the use of the acronyms of that country.
