Utilización de algunas herramientas prácticas en la monitorización de la Enfermedad Infecciosa de la Bolsa de Fabricio, en la empresa Agroindustrial Proave S.A.

Abstract

Con el objetivo de establecer un programa integral para la vigilancia en campo de la enfermedad de la Infección de la Bolsa de Fabricio, a partir de la inmunidad materna, transferida a la progenie, se evaluaron serológicamente tres lotes reproductores (P10B, P9B y P8) a las 35, 45 y 53 semanas de edad y sus respectivas progenies (20 pollitos) a los 3, 6 ,9 y 12 días de edad, utilizando la técnica de ELISA con el ensayo comercial de IDEXX®. Los títulos de anticuerpos en dos lotes reproductores se encontraron dentro de lo esperado, de acuerdo al programa de vacunación y a la edad de las aves, mientras que el tercer lote presentó un título inferior a lo esperado. Los resultados serológicos de la progenie al tercer día de edad, muestran un título medio entre 3045 y 2746 con coeficientes de variación entre 30.6 a 38.3, los cuales descienden a la mitad cada tres días, por lo que al día nueve, las aves presentaron valores inferiores a 1000. El porcentaje de transferencia de anticuerpos fue superior al 50% para los lotes de 45 y 53 semanas, mientras que el valor en la progenie del lote P 10 B, con un título medio de 3045, se considera un título de inmunidad pasiva aceptable tomando en consideración la edad del lote progenitor (35 semanas). En la obtención del índice morfométrico bursal, el índice peso de la bolsa de Fabricio: peso del bazo (PBF:PB) y el diámetro de la bolsa de Fabricio, se seleccionaron en forma aleatoria cinco pollos a los 14, 21, 28 y 35 días de edad, procedentes de tres granjas de engorde, y se determinó que para los índices peso de la bolsa de Fabricio: peso corporal (PBF:PC) y PBF:PB a los 14 y 21 días, la relación se mantiene en un promedio de 2, mientras que a los 28 días la relación es de 1 y a los 35 días esta relación se pierde. No se evidenció una variación con respecto al diámetro de la bolsa de Fabricio y su equivalencia en centímetros, cuyo promedio fue 1,3 cm. En la técnica de procesamiento de imágenes se mantiene una integridad de las bolsas de Fabrico en las tres granjas hasta los 21 días, lo cual concuerda con los resultados zootécnicos de las parvadas estudiadas. Por último mediante la prueba de Pearson se obtuvo el grado de correlación entre las diferentes variables peso corporal, peso de la bolsa de Fabricio, diámetro de la bolsa de Fabricio, peso del bazo (PC, PBF, DIAM, PB) y se determinó que solo existe un alto grado de correlación entre las variables PBF: DIAM en las granjas A y C, así como también en la correlación PC: PB debido a que la cantidad de datos no fue la suficiente.

With the objective of establishing an integral program for the monitoring in field, of the Infection bursal disease, from the maternal immunity, transferred to the lineage, three reproductive lots (P10B, P9B and P8) to 35 were evaluated serology, 45 and 53 weeks of age and their respective lineages (20 chicks) to the 3, 6, 9 and 12 days of age, using the technique of ELISA with the commercial test of IDEXX®. The titles of antibodies in two reproductive lots were within the awaited thing, according to the program of vaccination and at the age of the birds, whereas the third lot presented an inferior title to the awaited thing. The serology results of the lineage to the third day of age, shows an average title between 3045 and 2746 with coefficient of variation between 30,6 to 38,3, which descend to half every three days, for this reason , to day nine, the birds presented displayed inferior values to 1000. The percentage of transference of antibodies was superior to 50% for the lots of 45 and 53 weeks, while the obtained value for the linage of lot P 10 B, with a medium title of 3045 is considered as an acceptable immunity title for the age of the progenitors (35 weeks). In the obtaining of the bursal morfometric index, the index weight of the bursa of Fabricius: weight of spleen (PBF: PB) and the diameter bursa of Fabricius, selected in random form five chickens to the 14, 21, 28 and 35 days of age, coming from three farms of fattening, determined that for the indices weight bursa of Fabricius: corporal weight (PBF: PC) and PBF: PB to the 14 and 21 days, the relation stays in an average of 2, whereas to the 28 days the relation is of 1 and to the 35 days this relation is lost. A variation with respect to the diameter bursal of Fabricius and its equivalence in centimeters was not demonstrated , the average was 1.3 cm. In the technique of image processing an integrity of bursa to keep in the three farms until the 21 days, which agrees with the performs of the studied poultry ones. Finally, by the test of Pearson, it was obtained the degree of correlation between the different variables: corporal weight weight bursal of Fabricius, diameter bursal of Fabricius, weight of spleen (PC, PBF, DIAM, PB) and it has been determined that single a high degree of correlation between variables PBF: DIAM in the farms A and C, thus like also in correlation PC: PB because the amount of data was not sufficient .
