Apoyo de las Municipalidades de Aserrí, Barva y Palmares al desarrollo de las microempresas de los respectivos cantones en el período comprendido entre junio 2008 y junio 2009

Abstract

En la economía actual de nuestro país, según datos del Observatorio de PYMES de la Universidad Estatal a Distancia, se establece un aumento significativo en la cantidad de microempresas que ingresan a ejercer un rol importante en el desarrollo económico. El sector de las microempresas se ha convertido en un trascendental centro de atención y debate en Centroamérica. Esto se debe en buena medida a que juegan un papel importante en la generación de empleos y que se introducen en las actividades más dinámicas de la economía, que incluye al sector exportador. Sin embargo, a pesar que las microempresas representan un porcentaje significativo del total de empresas instaladas, éstas no tienen a disposición todas las formas y mecanismos de apoyo por parte de las municipalidades donde se ubican, con el fin de generarles fortalecimiento y desarrollo. La presente investigación pretende determinar el apoyo que hay actualmente a las microempresas por parte de las municipalidades. Debido a lo anterior se plantearon posibles causas que no hacen posible el apoyo a los microempresarios por parte de las municipalidades de Aserrí, Barva y Palmares, estas causas se desarrollaran como objetivos específicos.
