Resumen
EI Departamento de Química de la Universidad Nacional, desde 1978, se ha
caracterizado por su preocupación por
el mejoramiento de la labor realizada
en los cursos iniciales o introductorios,
específicamente en los cursos pertenecientes a la
Cátedra de Química General (Ruiz, R. M., 1984).
Como producto de esta preocupación, en el Area
de Docencia, se propuso una metodología de
enseñanza-aprendizaje centrada en elestudiante,
y se organizó a partir de 1979, en el Area de
Extensión, el Programa de Mejoramiento de la
Enseñanza de la Química, del cual posteriormente
emana el Programa de Enseñanza de las Ciencias
y la Matemática, en el que se involucra a las
diferentes unidades académicas que conforman
la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales de la
Universidad Nacional.
The Department of Chemistry of the National University, since 1978, has characterized by its concern for the improvement of the work done in the initial or introductory courses, specifically in the courses belonging to the Chair of General Chemistry (Ruiz, R. M., 1984). As a result of this concern, in the Area Teaching, a methodology was proposed for student-centered teaching-learning and was organized from 1979, in the Area of Extension, the Program for the Improvement of Teaching of Chemistry, of which later emanates the Science Education Program and Mathematics, which involves different academic units that make up the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of National University.
