Fortalecimiento del vínculo entre la EBDI y los graduados de la carrera de bibliotecología y gestión de la información de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica

Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación es fortalecer el vínculo entre la Escuela de Bibliotecología, Documentación e Información (EBDI) de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica y las personas graduadas de la carrera a partir del empleo de diferentes recursos y estrategias. Este estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo y fue de tipo descriptivo; la recolección de los datos se hizo por medio de un cuestionario digital aplicado a 189 personas graduadas de las cuales 105 respondieron el instrumento.
Como resultados y conclusiones principales de esta investigación, es posible resaltar el logro y organización de los datos de contacto actualizados de las personas graduadas para facilitar la comunicación y vinculación de ambas partes. Asimismo, se determinó la necesidad de un plan de actualización profesional continua para estas personas que considere los tópicos de interés identificados y otros aspectos que esta Escuela debe tomar en cuenta para la realización de alianzas estratégicas y para facilitar nuevas iniciativas que fortalezcan tanto la formación académica como la realización conjunta de proyectos con las personas graduadas de la carrera y de la EBDI.

This study had a quantitative approach and was descriptive; data collection was done through a digital questionnaire applied to 189 graduates of which 105 responded to the instrument. As main results and conclusions of this research, it is possible to highlight the achievement and organization of updated contact data of the graduates to facilitate communication and linkage of both parties. Likewise, it was determined the need for a continuous professional updating plan for these people that considers the topics of interest identified and other aspects that this School should take into account for the realization of strategic alliances and to facilitate new initiatives that strengthen both the academic training and the joint realization of projects with the graduates of the career and the EBDI.
