Resumen
Durante la década de 1940, las ceremonias de toma de poder en Costa Rica se consolidan como un ritual político que permite al nuevo grupo gobernante obtener legitimidad y notoriedad, por medio de la escenificación del poder. Asimismo, se observa cómo estas ceremonias adquieren un carácter de celebración cívica y facilitan el proceso de conciliación nacional tras la lucha por el control del poder político.
During the 1940`s, the ceremony of inauguration of the President had been consolidated as a political ritual that allows the new government to gain legitimacy and visibility, through the staging of the power. In additional, this ceremonies taken a character of civic celebration that facilitates the process of a national`s reconciliation after the struggle for control of the political power.
