Resumen
La guerra civil de 1948 es un parteaguas
en la historia del siglo XX de nuestro
país.
Su vigencia institucional sigue gravitando en los destinos nacionales. A
los 50 años de ese hecho histórico, es preciso
realizar un esfuerzo por analizar el significado y las
consecuencias de la guerra civil de 1948 y sus
efectos inmediatos más visibles: la Asamblea
Nacional Constituyente y la Carta Magna de 1949.
En este breve ensayo haremos varias reflexiones sobre algunos aspectos que nos llaman
la atención, indicando que era un niño en ese
entonces y que mi padre Jorge Romero Romero
fue una de las primeras personas que llegó a la
finca la Lucha Sin Fin de José Figueres Ferrer, con
el pequeño grupo que provenía de Desamparados
(San José), con Domingo García, los hermanos
Tista, Miguel Flores, Carlos Gamboa y Domingo
Chacón, por ejemplo.
The 1948 civil war is a watershed in the 20th century history of our country. Its institutional validity continues to gravitate to national destinations. A the 50 years of that historical fact, it is necessary make an effort to analyze the meaning and the consequences of the 1948 civil war and its most visible immediate effects: the Assembly National Constituent and the Magna Carta of 1949. In this brief essay we will make several reflections on some aspects that call us attention, indicating that he was a child in that then and that my father Jorge Romero Romero was one of the first people to arrive at the José Figueres Ferrer's La Lucha Sin Fin Fin, with the small group that came from Desamparados (St. Joseph), with Domingo Garcia, the Tista, Miguel Flores, Carlos Gamboa and Domingo Chacon, for example.
