The main background of the topic denoted the importance of investigated phenomenon, since, between the empowerment process and the process of career adaptability, there is no research and documentation that integrates both phenomena, therefore, the incorporation of these was taken as the main approach, Therefore, this research was justified by statistical data, legislation, criteria of relevance and social scope, feasibility, convenience and theoretical and methodological contribution. TO through a naturalistic paradigm, from a phenomenological approach and type of study biographical, the participating women were delimited and through interviews semi-structured, resumes and focus groups, designed by the researcher and validated Through pilot tests, they allowed the results to be delimited, which were mediated by criteria of scientific rigor, such as credibility, transferability, dependence and confirmability. Among the main results, it is evident that women make you visualize how throughout your student and professional career you have experienced an evident empowerment experience, since they have had to endure moments of violence due to her status as a woman, reflecting gender inequality in areas STEM.
