Procesos de adaptación en la dinámica familiar a partir del diagnóstico del Síndrome de Asperger en niños entre los siete y doce años: estudio de tres casos desde la teoría sistémica

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los procesos de adaptación en la dinámica familiar a partir del diagnóstico en niños con Síndrome de Asperger, entre los siete y doce años, desde la teoría sistémica. Su énfasis se da en el momento que llega el trastorno a formar parte de la dinámica familiar, estudiando los límites, roles, alianzas, jerarquías, interacciones y las pautas comunicacionales que se dieron antes, durante y después de la develación del diagnóstico. Su abordaje se dio desde la teoría familiar sistémica, analizando a todo el sistema y nunca desde lo individual, estudiando el trastorno del Síndrome de Asperger desde el modelo sistémico de la enfermedad. La base metodológica de este estudio se desarrolló desde lo cualitativo y el método hermenéutico dialéctico, lo que permitió la concordancia entre el resultado de los datos y su respectivo análisis desde la teoría familiar sistémica. Las conclusiones resaltan la dinámica y estructura familiar que tienen estas tres familias con la llegada del Síndrome de Asperger. Este Síndrome es visto como agente externo, lejano y pasajero, sus etapas no son conocidas ni aceptadas en las familias de estudio y el rol que tienen los sistemas educativo, social y de salud forman parte importante de la dinámica familiar desarrollada en cada uno de los sistemas.

This research aims to analyze the adaptation processes in family dynamics following diagnosis in children between the ages of seven and twelve with Asperger's Syndrome, using a systemic theory approach. Its emphasis is on the moment the disorder becomes part of the family dynamic, studying the boundaries, roles, alliances, hierarchies, interactions, and communication patterns that occurred before, during, and after the diagnosis was revealed. Its approach was based on systemic family theory, analyzing the entire system rather than the individual, studying Asperger's Syndrome from a systemic model of the illness. The methodological basis of this study was developed from a qualitative perspective and the dialectical hermeneutic method, which allowed for concordance between the data results and their respective analysis from systemic family theory. The conclusions highlight the family dynamics and structure of these three families with the onset of Asperger's Syndrome. This syndrome is viewed as an external, distant, and transient agent. Its stages are neither known nor accepted by the families studied, and the role played by the educational, social, and health systems is an important part of the family dynamics developed in each of these systems.
