Fortalecimiento de habilidades para la vida a partir de la realización de talleres participativos basados en la psicología educativa, dirigidos a un grupo de niñas y niños que residen en el hogar Casa de Pan, ubicado en el cantón de Tibás.

Resumen
El presente proyecto tuvo como objetivo Fortalecer las habilidades para la
vida en un grupo de niñas y niños de 9 a 12 años que residen en el Hogar Casa de
Pan. El mismo tuvo una duración de aproximadamente año y medio, en el cual se
trabajó con la población participante por medio tres fases: diagnóstico de
necesidades, formulación de la estrategia de intervención e implementación de esta.
La intervención se realizó en conjunto participantes-facilitadoras, partiendo
desde la metodología investigación-acción en la cual es clave involucrar a la
población en el desarrollo de la estrategia, tomando en cuenta sus necesidades y
preferencias, con el fin de generar un proyecto que sea de su agrado y que pueda
generar un impacto en la población. A partir de esta metodología se implementó la
estrategia tomando como referentes conceptuales los principios de la psicología
educativa, la pedagogía de la ternura y el enfoque de habilidades para la vida.
El presente proyecto estuvo enfocado en la autoestima, ya que fue la
habilidad que se presentó más comprometida durante la fase diagnóstica. El
principal resultado obtenido en la intervención fue que al fortalecer una habilidad
también se fortalecen otras, generando la potencialización de la autoestima,
tolerancia a la frustración, manejo de emociones y empatía, lo cual se reflejó durante
los talleres finales, donde por medio de comentarios, juegos y distintas interacciones
se pudo apreciar un comportamiento que reflejaba la interiorización de las
habilidades trabajadas.
The objective of this project was to strengthen life skills in a group of girls and boys from 9 to 12 years old who reside in the Casa de Pan Home. It lasted approximately one and a half years, in which they worked with the participating population through three phases: needs assessment, formulation of the intervention strategy and its implementation. The intervention was carried out jointly with participants-facilitators, starting from the research-action methodology in which it is key to involve the population in the development of the strategy, taking into account their needs and preferences, in order to generate a project that is to your liking and that can generate an impact on the population. Based on this methodology, the strategy was implemented taking as conceptual references the principles of educational psychology, the pedagogy of tenderness and the life skills approach. This project was focused on self-esteem, since it was the skill that was most compromised during the diagnostic phase. The main result obtained in the intervention was that by strengthening one skill, others are also strengthened, generating the potentialization of self-esteem, tolerance to frustration, management of emotions and empathy, which was reflected during the final workshops, where through comments , games and different interactions, it was possible to appreciate a behavior that reflected the internalization of the skills worked on.
