Resumen
Actualmente, la Sociedad de la Información, también llamada del conocimiento es un concepto aceptado como propuesta socioeconómica, como una nueva fase de organización de la producción y de la sociedad. En ella, las personas tienen acceso a redes de datos, servicios en línea y aplicaciones que facilitan sus actividades diarias y desarrollan su productividad personal.
Gran parte de los negocios del mundo se efectúan a través de redes electrónicas que conectan a personas y empresas y por consiguiente, los canales de marketing más directos y novedosos son los canales electrónicos.
El presente estudio expone los beneficios de la utilización del servicio en línea Export Helpdesk (EH) para las exportadoras de café oro de la Alianza de Mujeres en Café de Costa Rica (AMC de CR). El EH representa un instrumento complementario en la búsqueda de contactos comerciales en el mercado europeo. Lo anterior, debido a que el café es el tercer producto agrícola más importante de exportación de Costa Rica. En el caso de la Unión Europea (UE) adquiere alrededor de 80 millones de dólares anuales del grano costarricense, lo que representa aproximadamente el 35% del total de las ventas nacionales. Today, the Information Society, also known as the Knowledge Society, is an accepted concept as a socioeconomic proposal, as a new phase in the organization of production and society. In it, people have access to data networks, online services and applications that facilitate their daily activities and develop their personal productivity. Much of the world's business is conducted through electronic networks that connect people and companies, and therefore the most direct and innovative marketing channels are electronic channels. This study describes the benefits of using the Export Helpdesk (EH) online service for the women exporters of gold coffee of the Alianza de Mujeres en Café de Costa Rica (AMC de CR). The EH represents a complementary tool in the search for commercial contacts in the European market. This is because coffee is Costa Rica's third most important agricultural export product.
