Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación analiza la relevancia de la mujer indígena recuperadora en los procesos de regeneración y recuperación del territorio de China Kichá en el año 2022, territorio perteneciente al pueblo originario cabécar ubicado en el cantón de Pérez Zeledón en Costa Rica. Se comprenden estas prácticas de recuperación/regeneración como el ejercicio digno de sus derechos como mujeres indígenas, tales como el derecho a la autonomía, así como a la autodeterminación. El trabajo se desarrolla en la modalidad de producción artística, ya que como producto final de la investigación se desarrolló un diseño para la elaboración de una pintura mural que comunica por medio del arte, las narrativas que surgieron de forma colaborativa con una lideresa indígena de China Kichá. El arte comprendido como el lenguaje de comunicación visual que se puede utilizar distintas estrategias artísticas/políticas para dialogar, denunciar, así como para generar conciencia sobre un tema en particular, con el público que observa la obra.
This research work analyzes the relevance of indigenous women recuperators in the processes of regeneration and recovery of the territory of China Kichá in the year 2022, a territory belonging to the Cabécar indigenous people located in the canton of Pérez Zeledón in Costa Rica. These recovery/regeneration practices are understood as the dignified exercise of their rights as indigenous women, such as the right to autonomy and self-determination. The work is developed in the modality of artistic production, since as a final product of the research a design was developed for the elaboration of a mural painting that communicates through art, the narratives that emerged collaboratively with an indigenous leader of China Kichá. Art understood as the language of visual communication that can use different artistic/political strategies to dialogue, denounce, as well as to raise awareness about a particular issue, with the public that observes the work.
